Definition: Advertising or promotion of events on the UCLA campus for purpose of gathering audience members.
 
Summary: Advertising and promotion of an event to campus audiences is permissible for all internal events.

Advertising and promotion of an event to off-campus audiences requires authorization and approval from the Center for Student Programming for Registered Organization events or from the UCLA Events Office for departmental or external events. The following exceptions apply: Athletics Department, UCLA Performing Arts, University Extension, External Affairs, ASUCLA, School of the Arts & Architecture and School of Theater, Film & Television.

All off-campus publicity for a program or event which involves the use of University facilities may be released only after review and approval by the University sponsor and one of the departments or divisions listed above.

All registered organizations must obtain authorization from the Center for Student Programming.
